Poland"s air navigation agency says 80% of its funding is being withheld as it becomes entangled in a legal dispute between Warsaw and pharmaceutical giant Pfizer over COVID-19 vaccine contracts.
The case stems from vaccines ordered through the European Union five years ago that Poland"s previous right-wing government neither accepted nor paid for.
Pfizer sues Poland for €1.2 billion for COVID vaccines that Poland doesn"t need but which the EU and Pfizer negotiated for them.
